He was predeceased by: his sister Becky Russell; and his parents, David and Elizabeth. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Abernathy, Carolyn Burns and David Russell; and his daughters, Cassandra Russell, Victoria Russell, Brooke Kuchenbrod and Hannah Rose.
Even in retirement, and while battling Parkinson's disease, he continued to welcome people into his home for prayer and counsel.
