He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Ivan and Onovese Ricard Sharpe; and his sister Vondola Goff. He is survived by: his wife Doris Rhoten Sharpe; his children, Robert Sharpe (Jan) of Lexington and Maria Sampson (Doug) of Jamestown, NC; his grandchildren, Melanie Cronin (Danny), Laura Bowers (Cameron), Daniel Sharpe (Ashley) and Leslie Howard (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Carter, Jackson Cronin, Sam, Walker Bowers, McKenna, Landon Sharpe, Cameron, Grayson and Brennan Howard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
