It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Idell Johnson DeVore of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rochie Johnson, Sr. and Mamie Johnson; and her siblings, Lorena Johnson, Liza Johnson, John Curtis Johnson, Javin Johnson, Frank Johnson and Rochie Johnson, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Albert DeVore, Jr.; and her sons, Jody Devore, John DeVore (Tammy) and Robert DeVore. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
