He is survived by: his wife Maria Metcalf; his children, Tyler Carter, Levi Carter, Elijah Carter, Troy Carter and Hunter Nipper; his stepchildren, Kaitlyn Boyce, Brendon Metcalf, Michael Metcalf and Gage Lease; his grandchildren, Paige Marie Boyce, Lilly Taylor Baker, Liam Lease and Noah Lease; his father James Marlon Carter; his stepmother Shirly Carter; his siblings, Christopher Carter (Ciara), Casey Carter, Somer Kerns (Bryant) of Hazlehurst, Elizabeth Ann Carter and Lance Nipper; and his grandmother Audrey Spell of Alma, GA.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
