We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2022, at the age of 80, James Goodwin Jr. of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Vance, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Whittaker Goodwin and Lula White Goodwin-Powell; his children, Sharon Oriente (Anthony) and Michael Goodwin (Cynthia); his granddaughters, Briana (Donny), Ashley, Nicole (Johnny), Cassandra and Amanda; his siblings, Genevieve Ash, Geralease Green (John) and Walter Goodwin (Peggy); his sisters-in-law, Earlene of Washington and Annie Goodwin; and his aunt Leona Griffin. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
