She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cecil Sox and Verda Kaminer Sox; and her husband Claude Powell, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Terri Robey (David) and Barry Powell, Sr. (Terri); and her grandchildren, Jenny Kronner (Shawn), James Robey (Kayley), David Robey (Cameron), Jacquelyn Hehir (Robert), Barry Keith Powell Jr. (Ashley) and Kevin Allen Powell (Mary Beth).
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Woodridge Memorial Park (138 Corley Mill Rd, Lexington, SC 29072).
