She was predeceased by: her husband Wyman Louis Sturkey, Sr.; her daughter Jennifer Sturkey; her parents, Mavis Janette Zahler Roberts and Richard Nathan Roberts; her sister Bonnie Rose Roberts; and her sibling-in-law Johnnie Sturkey (JoAnn).

She is survived by: her children, Renee Williams (Chris) and Wyman Louis Sturkey, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla Fenn (Nick), Nicholas Williams and Nathan Willams; her brother Richard "Ricky" Roberts (Christina); and her siblings-in-law, Jeanie Roof (late Barry), Debra Gutierrez and Mark Sturkey (Elouise).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
