It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Jay Hicks (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Hicks and Helen Hicks; his wife Mildred Hicks; his daughters, Jennifer Pownall and Shelly Rives; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Meetze, Kristen Harmon, Travis Keisler, Courtney Suriol, Joshua Rives and Jenna Pownall. He was also cherished by five great grandchildren.
