He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Millwood and Margie Millwood; his wife Lou Ellen Ricard Millwood; and his sister Hazel Millwood Allen. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald of Lexington and Jeffrey Millwood of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Gerald Millwood, Jr. of West Columbia and Grace Millwood of Batesburg-Leesville.
