He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Stealey and Catherine McDonnell Stealey of Clarksburg. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Tracy Mitchell (Teddy) and Nancy Wetzel (Mark); his grandchildren, Alexander James Griggs, Andrew Pearson, Ryan Patrick Mitchell, Sarah Elizabeth Griggs and Lauren Claire Mitchell; and his siblings, Richard "Rick" Stealey of New Jersey and Patricia Boyer (Bill) of California. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1130 St. Peters Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
