With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Pershing Ballington Jr. of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John Pershing "Perk" Ballington; his sister Bonny Clamp; his brothers-in-law, Bert Clamp and John E. Hughes; and his sibling's children, Brett Clamp, Wendy Pate and Donna Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Taylor Ballington; his children, Brad Ballington (Dusty), Bryan Ballington, Julie Ricard (Tony) and Anita Adcock Ballington; his grandchildren, Katelyn Ricard, Morgan Ricard (Landen Goff), Dylan Ballington and Taylor Ballington; and his siblings, Peggy Hughes and Barry Ballington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
