With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine B. Cogdill of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 27, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katherine B. Cogdill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leschensky and Ruth H. Ferguson Leschensky; and her siblings, Eva and Jinx. She is survived by: her husband William Lloyd Cogdill, Jr.; her sons, Garry Cogdill (Sharon) of Lexington and William Lloyd Cogdill, III of Lexington; her sister Sylvia Stevens; her grandchildren, Allison, Bradley, Courtney, Kirstin and Mia; her great grandchildren, Riley Kate and Banks; her friends, Amelia Woodsen and Pat Watson; and her caregivers, Patti Cavanaugh, Patricia Bishop, Lakie Vann and Nita Fleming.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Riverland Hills Baptist Church, 201 Lake Murray Boulevard, Irmo, S.C. 29063 or Providence Home, P.O. Box 3188, Columbia, S.C. 29203 for the Chapel Building fund.
