With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathy Evelyn O'Brien of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Freeport, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathy left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lisle Wire and Marjorie Wire (Wesson); her husband Ed O'Brien; and her sister Susan Wire. She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Crooker (Dwayne); her grandchildren, Dwayne Crooker II, Ashley Geddes (John), Samantha Henderson (Anthony) and Brenden LaFleur; her great grandchildren, Anthony James Henderson and Gunner Gerard Henderson; and her siblings, Ken Wire (Kimberly), LaVonne Catron (Richard), Nancy Huber, Linda Wire, Diane Feldman and Lili Floyd. She is also survived by brothers and sisters- in laws and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
