She is survived by: her children, James Pate and Maggie Shumpert (Matthew); her stepson John Wayne Pate, Jr. (Margie); her sister Sandra Hudson (Mark); and her grandchildren, Dylan Pate (Eva), Bryce Pate, Mary-Ellen Shumpert, Peyton Shumpert, Jonathan Pate, Shawn Pate and Ivan Pate. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
