He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carpenter and Lucille Nobles Carpenter; and his sisters, Brenda Carpenter, Phyllis Jane Carpenter Cone and Judy Carpenter Joyner.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Susan Griffin Carpenter; his sons, Edward Scott Carpenter (Julie) and Roscoe Chad Carpenter (Lisa); his grandchildren, Zachary Carpenter (Samantha), Kaitlyn Black (Trevor), Christian Carpenter, Samantha Carpenter, Jack Dominick, Jacob Dominick and Tucker Dominick; his great grandchild Riley Carpenter; and his pets, Maggie and Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel (503 N Lake Dr, Lexington, SC 29072).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kenneth's honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
