He is survived by: his wife Lana Pearson; his daughters, Heather Swingle (Randy) and Lauren Pearson; his grandchildren, Dillon and Anabelle Swingle; his sisters, Carol Todd and Paula Pearson; and his siblings' children, Reagan Gassaway, Vanessa, Ashley, John and David Todd.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
