He is survived by: his wife Julie Heckman; his daughter Kelli Chavis; his stepchildren, Jennifer Hoang and Allen Garrett; his grandchildren, Austin Chavis, Seth Chavis, Dakota Kirland, Andalyn Hoang (Gray) and Shyann Joiner; his great grandchildren, Dylan Chavis and Rilynn Chavis; and his mother-in-law LaNette Hermes. He is also survived by his family and friends.
