Lenora Maxine Payne Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lenora Maxine Payne in Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Ramsey and Ola V. Williamson Ramsey; her husband Billy Ray Payne; her son David Payne of Salley; and her siblings, Royce "Preacher" Ramsey and Bobbie Jean Ramsey Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Alton Payne (Sandra) of Chapin, Rose Gunter (Bobby) of Gilbert, George Payne (Teresa) of Irmo, Cyndi Langlois (Jeff) of Chapin and Connie Okazaki (Ken) of Chapin; her daughter-in-law Susie Payne of Salley; and her grandchildren, Billie Payne Rogers, Lori Payne Pool, Amber Payne, Jessica Payne, Allen Payne, Bobby Gunter, Jr., Greg Gunter, Brent Gunter, Kristi Langlois Paschall, Christopher Langlois, Jacqui Okazaki, Jeni Okazaki and Cruz Okazaki. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
