It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Taylor (Lexington, South Carolina), born in Cairo, Georgia, who passed away on September 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Hutto Taylor; his daughter Tina Taylor Green; and his siblings, Edna Butts, Gladys Kellner, Dorothy Johnstone, Jesse Taylor and Jack Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Taylor Pollock (Jim) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, William Byrd, Jr. of Columbia, SC, Candice Wizer (Freeman) of Nashville, TN and Richard Green (Ashley) of Lexington, SC; his great grandchild Macie Marilynn Green of Lexington, SC; and his sister Violet Branham of Ridgeway, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
