She was predeceased by : her son George T. Grubbs, Jr.; her granddaughter Misty M. Leddick; and her siblings, Ervin Corbett, Evelyn White (Authur), Joseph Corbett (Lee), Virgie Varner, Iley Boney (James Lee), Leola Cox (Richard) and Bessie Webb (Marvin).

She is survived by : her children, Larry W. Grubbs, Gerald A. Grubbs and Vicki G. Lankford (Michael); her daughter-in-law Angi Grubbs; her sister Ethel C. Miles of Summerville, SC.; and her grandchildren, Jonathan T. Grubbs, Rebecca Grubbs Nicholson and Charlene Gosnell (Brandon). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
