She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Skinner and Maude Hudson Skinner; and her husband A. C. Gates. She is survived by: her children, Lynda Litton Fletcher of Lexington and John T. Litton (Joan) of Georgetown, SC; her sister Maude Skinner of Mason, Ohio; her grandchildren, Blake Fletcher (Nikki Atencio) of Cayce, Nicole Bartlett (Jeromy) of Charlotte, Walker Garrison (Ashley Holland) of Garner, NC and Hope Hartley (Nicholas Caulder) of Lexington, SC; her great grandchildren, Morgan and Hunter Bartlett; her sister Frances Huggins; and her son-in-law Milton Fletcher.
