She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elmer Anderson and Martha Della Anderson; her spouse Vellius B. Barrs, Jr.; and her brother Elmer Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Mark Timothy Barrs (Marchelle) and Marsha Scott (Keith).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Edmund First Baptist Church (6256 Edmund Hwy, Lexington, SC 29073). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Edmund First Baptist Church Missions Fund, 6256 Edmund Highway, Lexington, SC 29073, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
