It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jean Smith Thompson (Lexington, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virden Smith and Queenie Williams Rish; her siblings, Shirley Anne Smith, Frank O. Smith, Thomas L. Smith and Willie L. Smith; and her grandmother Jean.
She is survived by: her children, Ed Lundeen (Linda), Debbie McCarthy, Tommy Pruitt (Jan), Robbie Pruitt (Sara) and Danny Pruitt (Josephina); and her grandchildren, Kelli Chavis, Eddie Lundeen of Laura Lundeen, T. J, Dylan Pruitt, Emily Pruitt, Tyler Pruitt, Tanner Pruitt and Daniel Pruitt, Jr..
