She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan Jett Basford and Dorris Frances Parham Basford; her husband Priestly Edward Wherry, Jr.; and her son Priestly Jett Wherry. She is survived by: her daughter Emily Wherry Mills (Robert); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Mills Price (Jeremiah) of Lexington and Robert Daniel Mills; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Mills Price, Celia Elizabeth Price and Robert Bowen Mills. She is also survived by loving extended family members and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bellwood Cemetery (105 US-41, Adams, TN 37010).
