She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Mae Woods Crosby and Herman Woods. She is survived by: her children, Sonia Shipes Kelly of Vilas, NC, Janis Shipes Corley (Larkin) of Lexington and Derrell A. Shipes (Sarah) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Angela Tester (Doug), Wendy Vines (Joe), John Jordan, Caroline Butcher (Nick), Andrew Shipes (Baylee) and Clay Shipes (Brittany); her sisters, Agnes Peeples (Edgar) of Varnville, Ellen Wilson (Harry) of Charleston and Lydia Breland (Bobby) of Grays; her son Jonathan Wade Shipes; and her son-in-law Robert J. Kelly. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
