It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtle Schaeffer of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Hopkins, South Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Marvin Biggerstaff and Letha Biggerstaff; her children, Robert Schaeffer (Alana), Joseph "Marty" Schaeffer and Loni Heaton (Mark); her grandchildren, JonCarl Gantt, Jordan Taylor, Valerie Heaton and Iris Heaton; her great grandchildren, Logan Dutton and Michael Dutton; and her siblings, Ernest, Joe Biggerstaff, Faye Kirbin and Irene Zeigler.
