With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy Compton of Lexington, South Carolina. Nancy, born on June 22, 1945 in Mullins, South Carolina, passed away on June 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Derrick Richardson and Duke Richardson. She is survived by: her husband Charlie; her daughters, Christa Compton, Claire Compton and Carrie Compton Merrell (Judson); her brother Doug Richardson (Wilmer); her brothers-in-law, Ben Compton (Suzanne) and Jimmy Compton (Charlotte); her brother Calvin; Nancy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
