He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Hokanson and Norman Maxwell Oelhafen. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Oelhafen; his children, Mark (Gigi Oelhafen) and Kristin (James Driggers); and his grandchildren, Austin Oelhafen, Rachel Knight, Ryan Oelhafen, Reid Driggers and Aaron Oelhafen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lexington Presbyterian Church (246 Barr Rd, Lexington, SC 29072). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
