It is with sadness that the passing of Ollie C. Grainger of Lexington, South Carolina is shared. Ollie, born on November 2, 1934, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ollie will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Ollie by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Ollie is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Ollie’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lavern Grainger; her son Scott Roper; and her sister Mary Sue Brown. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Lovern (Mark) of Columbia and Patrick Roper (Scarlett) of Independence, Louisiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (1273 Calks Ferry Rd, Lexington, SC 29072).
