We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2025, Paul Jones Helms (Lexington, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Jason Helms. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia K. Helms; his children, Paul Helms, Jr. of Minnesota, Troy Helms of California, Daren Helms of California, Scott Helms of California, Melina Meis of Illinois, April Westbrook of South Carolina and Jill Thompson of Georgia; and his sister Jan Mayer of Michigan. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gethsemane Baptist Church.
