Peggy B. Whitaker Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 81, Peggy B. Whitaker of Lexington, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her brother Jimmy Booth of Horry County, SC.. She is survived by : her husband Wayne L. Whitaker; her children, Angie Carter of Lexington, SC, Tonya Whitaker of Georgetown, KY, Julie Whitaker of Los Cruces, NM and Lee Carter of Lexington, SC.; her grandchildren, Kevin Carter (Cassie), Michael Puffer, Cole Carter (Molly) and Caroline Carter; her nieces, Carla McGaha and Heather Gunter; and her sister-in-law Deborah Adams Booth Finnell.

At her request, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
