He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Gardner and Chris Gardner; his wife Cindy; his sons, Andy Grimes (Shelly) of Mesa, AZ and Ryan Grimes (Ingrid) of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Weston Woolsey (Rachael), Tyler Barnes, Trevor Cullen (Ally Jo), Cody Grimes, Kaleb Grimes and Preslee Grimes; his great grandchildren, Brynlee Woolsey and Beckham Woolsey; his siblings, Tina Coates of Bowling Green, KY, Jay Gardner (Gwyn) of Ann Arbor, MI and Frank Gardner (Jody) of Littleton, CO.; his brother-in-law Chuck Coates; his nephew Roger Coates; and his great grandchild Zachary Woolsey. He was also cherished by his sons, and became a doting grandfather and great-grandfather.
