He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse O. Marr and Ruth Blackburn Marr; and his brothers, Nathan of Hampton, SC, Bill, Vernon of Thomasville, NC, Donald of Lenoir, NC and Wilfred of Dothan, AL..
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Polk Marr (Betty) of Chapin, SC; his children, Raymond L. Marr, Jr. (Ray) and Annette Marr (Ann) of Lexington, SC; his grandsons, Raymond L. Marr (Lee) and Jonathan Edgar (Jon); and his great grandchildren, Lennox, Elliott of Lexington, SC, Eleanor, Cecilia and Clara.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapin Christian Community Church (415 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036).
