He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Brett Bonacum, Bryan Bonacum (Leigh) and Brooke Troche (Raymond); his grandchildren, Brianna Keckeisen (Brian), Brandon Pettersen (Mallory), Tyler Bonacum, Taylor Mesquita (Rafael), Daniel Lieberman, Ethan Lieberman, Logan Bonacum and RJ Troche; his great grandchildren, Bentley, Luca Mesquita and Harrison Keckeisen; his brother-in-law Robert Potocki; his foster sister Maureen Smith; his siblings, Dorothy Bachelor, Bonnie Bonacum, Kathleen Meaney and Cornelius Bonacum; and his sister-in-law Joanne Johnson. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

“Years ago he was with me thru the "good, bad and ugly", loves won and lost, he was lucky /happy to find Barbara, me not so much but always there for me. A gentleman, never heard a bad word out of his mouth, simple "now wait a minute, you better think about this" when foolishness was about to happen. Will miss faithful May every year for my birthday, no matter NSEW he was living. Feel so bad for Barbara /family as he loved them dearly and so proud to be their Dad. Count me among missing him alot.”
