He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Kirchner and Beatrice Willett Kirchner; his brothers, Samuel and Henry J. Kirchner, Jr.; and his son H. Scott Kirchner.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Waddell Kirchner; his children, Kevin (Barbara), Keith (Becky), Karry (Sally) and Kelly (Mike); his grandchildren, Nick, Casey, Robert, Mary Grace, Caroline, Charlie, Sam and Jack; and his sister Louise Gilpin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Assistance Ministry at Corpus Christi Catholic Church or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
