With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Godley Kirkland (Lexington, South Carolina), born in Saint George, South Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father James Godley. She is survived by: her husband Stancel Edward Kirkland, Sr.; her mother Margaret "Winnie" Kennedy Godley; her children, Alice Kirkland Dyer and Stancel Edward Kirkland, Jr.; her grandchildren, Sarah Jane Dyer, Ethan Kirkland and Jackson Dyer; and her sisters, Loretta Casey and Saviella Williams.

If you would like to give a donation in her honor, they can be given to Epworth Children's Home in Columbia.
