He was predeceased by : his parent Willie Kaney, Jr.; and his sister Susan R. Kaney. He is survived by : his mother Marilyn Sease Casey; and his daughter Susan.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - Lexington Chapel (503 N Lake Dr, Lexington, SC 29072).
