She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Earl Alverson, Sr.; her parents, W. L. Turner and Thelma Turner; her siblings, Jimmy David Smith and Sally Turner; her grandparents, Lewis and Gillie Frances Simmons Turner; and her best-friend Randy Dodson.
She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Panter (Charles), Tina Alverson (Chris Corley) and Ben E. Alverson Jr.; her grandchildren, Tasha Kathryn Williams-Panter, Chasta Ann Alverson, Megan Alverson, Jessi Nichols (Braden), Monica Alverson, Michael Thomas Christopher Williams and Austin Alverson; and her great grandchildren, Aliciana Peyton, Grayson Nesmith-Williams, Eli Nichols, Marshall Nesmith-Williams and Christopher Alverson.
