She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Elvin Pound, Sr.; her son Fred "Bud" Bennett, Jr.; her grandson Bryan Bennett Wrigley; and her siblings, Jacob E. Pound, Jr., Hilda P. Sturkie and Sybil P. Senn.
She is survived by: her husband Fred "Buddy" Bennett; her daughter Mandy Wrigley (Eric); her grandson Kevin Wrigley (Danielle); and her great grandchild Rowan.
In Shirley's memory, the family requests donations be made to the Bryan Bennett Wrigley Memorial Scholarship c/o Newberry College, 2100 College St., Newberry, SC 29108.
