It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Wilson Dean of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fennial Dennis Wilson, Sr. of Allendale, SC and Annie Bell K. Wilson of Hopkins, SC; and her siblings, Fennial Dennis Wilson, Jr. of Columbia, SC and Barbara W. Holmes of Hopkins, SC.. She is survived by: her brothers, Paul E. Wilson (Jeanette) of Hopkins, SC and W. Thomas Wilson of Columbia, SC; her children, Sharon D. Norton and Dennis Dean (Donna) of Lugoff, SC; her grandchildren, Allison Norton of Lexington, SC, Jack Norton (Erin) of Batesburg, SC, Amanda Dean Epling (Ryan) of Elgin, SC and Sarah Dean of Columbia, SC; and her great grandchildren, Leila Kay Norton, Garner Dean Norton, Melanie Epling and Bennett Epling. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the SC Alzheimer's Association.
