She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Houde and Yvonne Houde; her brother Francois Houde; and her great grandchild Brice Alan Chestnut. She is survived by: her children, Michelle (Kit), Eric (Patty), Sheryl (Mark) and Anne Marie (Hans); her grandchildren, Brittany (David), Kaci (Ryan), Holly, Leanne (Eric) and Ricky; and her siblings, Raymonde, Louise, Louisette, Micheline, Gilles and Pierre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to spend a special day with loved ones at one of her favorite places—Riverbanks Zoo, the beach—or simply enjoy the birds, drink coffee, and be together.
