Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sylvia Cartin of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Heath Springs, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 83, on June 9, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley B. Reeves and Edna B. Reeves; her spouse A. C. Cartin; and her brothers, Stanley Jackson "Jack" Reeves and John B. Reeves (Virginia).

She is survived by : her children, Rev. James D. "Skip" Cartin (Caroline), Catherine T. Phillips and Jennifer C. Wilson (Jonathan); her siblings, Linda Reeves Brinson (David) and Coach Gerald Reeves (Jean); and her sister-in-law Wilma Reeves Phillips (Frank). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
