He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leroy and Novalee Shealy Nye. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Koon Holsomback Nye of Ward; his children, Cody Nye (Racheal) of Piedmont, Jason Holsomback (Kim) of Ward, Adam Holsomback (Misty) of Ward and Brandi Nye (Obrien Suber) of Saluda; and his brother Gwenn C. Nye (Deborah) of Summit. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
