He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Herman Boldt and Dorothy Tager; and his brother Benjamin Peloso. He is survived by: his wife Janice Boldt; his children, Teddy Jr. (Melinda) and Julie Barfield (Kevin); and his siblings, William "Billy" Boldt (Mary), Clifette Northcutt (Jimmy), Edward Tager (Brenda) and Donna Turner (Tommy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution do so to the First Baptist Church of Gaston Building Fund.
