Thomas Joseph O'Brien Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Joseph O'Brien of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Joseph and Gertrude Moss O'Brien; his wife Barbara; his sister Rita; his brother-in-law Sonny Edmands; his brother Jim; and his siblings-in-law, Agnes O'Brien, Jack Larson and Gunnar Rhode.

He is survived by: his children, Kelly O'Brien Hawsey, Sean Thomas O'Brien (Marcy) of Lexington and Shannon O'Brien Burnett (Ashley) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Ryan Hawsey (Paige), Madison O'Brien, Luke O'Brien, Alex Burnett and Abby Burnett; and his caregiver Joann. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and Rhode in-laws.
