He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Sox and Mary Sox; his wife Bobbie McIver Sox; and his siblings, John Sox, Bill Sox, Russell Sox, Allen Sox, Melba Arnold, Grace Hannon and Jane Amaker.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas L. Sox Jr. (Ginger) and Joel Sox; his siblings, Roy Sox, George Sox, Joyce Smith and Carol Sox; his grandchildren, Abby Beard (Tyler) and Jason Sox (DiAnna); and his great grandchildren, Holly Beard, Olivia Beard, Alston Sox and Anna Katherine Sox.
