As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Todd may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Gerald Clarence Smoak. He is survived by: his wife Denise Gunter Hudson; his daughters, Kinsey Ann and Ella; his pet Max; his parents, Peggy Padgett Smoak of Mount Pleasant and Dr. Heyward Hudson; and his sisters, Tara Hudson Snyder (Lance) and Ashley Hudson Scott (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gamecock Club (1304 Heyward Street, Columbia, SC 29208), in honor of Todd's lifelong love and support of the University of South Carolina and Gamecock Athletics or Lakeside Middle School Athletics, Attn: Girls Basketball (455 Old Cherokee Rd, Lexington, SC 29072) to support Kinsey's school program.
