He is survived by: his wife Rita Shealy Dawkins Cumalander; his children, Ralph Thomas Cumalander, Jr. (Monica), Jonathan Cumalander, Haylee Mitchell (Curt) and Ashley Carter; his grandchildren, Kailee Cumalander, Trey Cumalander, Payton Mitchell, Campbell Mitchell, Brodie Carter and Baylee Carter; and his siblings, Christine Lake (Donnie), Susan Crawford (Bruce), Levi Cumalander (Karen) and Annie Jefferson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapin Christian Community Church (415 Lexington Ave, Chapin, SC 29036). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
