He was predeceased by : his parents, Berley Kyzer and Martha Kyzer; his wife Patricia "Sis" Kyzer; his sons, Clifford Kyzer, David and Jesse Poole; and his brothers, Loyd and Johnny Kyzer.

He is survived by : his children, Patsy Murdaugh (Ken), Karen Brown (David), Diane Gay and Bodie Poole; and his brothers, Larry and Ray Kyzer. He is also survived by nineteen grandkids.
