With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vivian C. Summer of Lexington, South Carolina, born in Kershaw, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Willie and Elizabeth McCombs Croxton. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda J. Summer, Marty S. Mackey (West Columbia) and Merrie S. McNair (David); her close friend Mary Smith (Richard); her grandchildren, William Chase (Megan), Davis Ellis (Shea), Hugh Locke (Brittany) of Charleston, Neill Hamilton (Charlotte) of Charlotte, NC, Douglas "Bud" Miller Mackey (Katie) of Lexington and Summer Ann Varney of Greenwood; and her brother Herbert Miller Croxton (Cornelia). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
